1/20/07- ET Motopark, 2007 Arizona Open Championship rd 1. 

After a late Friday (the night before) after noon rain the track was soaked with 12" of mud around the entire track. Now in most areas this would not be any issue. But if you live in the western USA and you ride in the rain you have more than likely experience it.

You ride around in the rain and it tears the first 3" of sandy dirt of the top until you get to the slick hard pack.

The track and racing....

After 4 motos the races were moved to the middle vet track where no-one rode during the rain, the day before. The track was actually tacky and traction at its best.

The racing was close most of the day due to the faster non technical track. See the attached results.

As for Ashley she beat the entire 65 beginner pack to the first turn both motos winning a $25 gift certificate at Jilliy's American Grill.
