Factory for a day

On the unusually Cloudy and Cold day in Phoenix Arizona, Ashley arrived at track around 9:00 am.
After a brief check in with the AMA registration she reported to the KTM Jr Factory semi trailer.
The entire KTM team welcomed the riders with smiles and instruction to get started for the day.
After checking out her #9 KTM Pro Sr she was to report inside the trailer to be outfitted with the new KTM Hard gear gloves, jersey and race pants. The size 24 pants fit well.
Ashley then returned to her bike to make minor adjustments to the brake levers and the handle bars to fit her tall size. The mechanics were all over the bikes making the adjustments as required by the riders. Barry Higgins and his team are top notch.
Along with the prestigious folks from M2R helmets, Asterisk and Michelin tires, the motorcycle pioneer himself, Bevo Forte (Scott USA) and the Amateur sensations of Blake and Tyler Wharton were guest speakers at the riders meeting.
Bevo from Scott USA and Sel from KTM were giving their best shot at stand up. Believe me they were funny.
Off to walk the track.
Ashley says the best part about walking the track is not walking the track, although it was fun, It is who you meet out there. She thanks both Chad Reed and Bubba Stewart for letting her take a picture with them.
After the 2 practices were complete, Ashley said this is the toughest track she has ridden on. But this didn't discourage the 8 year old, talkative, smiling girl. She was all for racing and couldn't wait for the gate to drop.
When the 15 Factory KTM Jr Team finally lined up at the gate they were all ready to go the crowed cheered as the all the racers were announced and their pictures were shown on the jumbo-tron. Even though Logan Chambers from Parker Arizona was first into turn 1 and was the first one over the finish line, the entire team performed awesome.
This was a chance in lifetime to be factory for a day.
